read only
Two days, eleven people, one wall. The goal was to agree on the three things a new customer should learn in their first minute.
The exercise that worked
Everyone wrote what they thought the product was on a card, alone, in one minute. The gap between the cards was the workshop.
What I would change
Less talking in the morning of day one. The wall does the work if you give it room.

Process
Why I still sketch on paper first
Ten bad ideas on paper cost nothing. One bad idea in a design file costs an afternoon.

Colour
A colour system you can explain in one minute
Six colours, each with a job. If you cannot say the job out loud, cut the colour.

Mobile
Designing for the thumb, not the mouse
Where thumbs actually reach, and what that means for buttons, menus and forms.
